The Summer Convergence of the People's Music Network for Songs of Freedom and Struggle -- June 4-6, 2021 -- connects and mobilizes performing artists and activists all over the world who use music, poetry, and other art forms as catalysts for justice and peace.  It includes an opening concert, multiple skills workshops, presentations, and participatory song circles.  It takes place in a series of Zoom Rooms, led by experienced facilitators.  Attendees may also sign up for a performance slot in the Round Robin, and reconnect with others during the built-in social times.  


  • REGISTRATION FEES: 
    • FOR MEMBERS: Registration is available to all members of the People's Music Network on a solidarity sliding scale, which goes from $0 to $70.  Simply log in to our website with your password and choose any of the "PMN Member" registration options.   
    • FOR EVERYONE ELSE:  If you aren't already a member of PMN, simply choose any of the "New Member" registration options.  Your registration fee includes a one-year membership in the People's Music Network, which PMN staff will activate manually within a day or two of you registering. This gives you full member access to our website, including all of our events throughout the year(See PMN member benefits).  If the low end of our annual member dues scale is prohibitive, read our membership dues cost reduction policy.
  • SESSIONS ON ZOOM: All registrants will receive a confirmation with separate Zoom Links for each session a few days before the convergence. 
  • ARE YOU TOTALLY NEW TO ZOOM?  If you need assistance with Zoom before or during the Convergence, please contact Rebecca Pomerantz, 617-312-2636 (call or text).
  • PERFORM IN THE ROUND ROBIN: If you'd like to perform in the Saturday Night Round Robin, log into the website and register for your slot using this form
  • FREE LIVESTREAMS: The Friday Night Concert and Saturday Night Round Robin, will each be livestreamed free of charge via the PMN Facebook Page AND the PMN Youtube Channel.
  • VIDEO RECORDINGS: Most of the educational workshops will be video recorded, and then videos will be provided to PMN Members through a members-only page within a week after the Convergence.  Each workshop where presenters confirmed plans to share the video recordings are marked in the workshop grid below with, "REC".
  • Help Publicize!  Encourage your friends to get involved with this online musical event for progressive culture:  Share event on Facebook!!
