Registration Deadline for Performers: Sunday, May 19, 11:59 PM (ET)
Every militarized society has poets and musicians who raise their voices against the senseless killing and all-consuming destructiveness such societies require. The U.S. increases its military budget every single year. Our government is largely united in spreading war and militarism to every corner of the planet -- all in a desperate and futile attempt to maintain the fading global hegemony of the U.S. Empire.
In this Zoom event, members of the People's Music Network and artists from around the world are invited to share poetry and songs of people's struggles against war, colonialism, military occupation, and imperialism. Let’s come together with solidarity and song to address how the evils imperil the planet, and what we can do to reverse course.

How to Participate
Using the "Register" button in the upper left area of the registration web page, PMN members are invited to sign up to share a song or a poem and/or to be part of the audience for this event. After registering, you receive an e-mail message containing the Zoom Meeting link. Due to time constraints and a vibrant community of performers keen to participate (400 active PMN members in total), it isn't always possible to include every interested performer in the final line up. In the event that not everyone performs, we'll make a wait list. Most people perform live, but we also welcome pre-recorded videos, immediately preceded by a live introduction. We prioritize inclusion of newcomers, young artists, and artists of color.
