PMN Songs of the Spirit (Participatory Singing)

Registration

On June 9, all PMN members were sent a personal e-mail invitation with a single Zoom link for Songs of the Spirit, Schmooze Rooms, and the PMN Membership Meeting -- all part of the June 11-15 Virtual PMN Summer Convergence.  Members also receive this Zoom link immediately after registering for any of these events.

PMN members will use one single Zoom link to join these 3 activities. By registering ahead of time for individual events, you let the meeting facilitators know you'll be participating, which helps us to plan. This event is not livestreamed. Description

Come join us in this shared experience of Community and Heart.  You're invited to enjoy a (digital) community circle where inspirational and empowering songs from many traditions rise up from the group.  Singers offer a song one by one without instruments or song sheets.   These are songs that people know or can learn easily without requiring a lot of teaching.

• We will try to replicate many of the aspects of Songs of the Spirit, which has a four decade history in PMN/SFS.  One person will sing and others will sing along. But, like other Zoom events, everyone except the one singer will be required to mute themselves, allowing all of us to see each other as we fill our separate spaces with music.
• Between songs, we pause, breathe and feel the energy and connection of the group.

So, this is another chance to build community and to harmonize (at least in your own home).  We would like you to consider becoming a member of this community and participate in this tradition.
