PMN SUMMER GATHERING, May 29-31, 2026 (Camp Grotonwood, Groton, MA)
This event emphasizes:
- Music to inspire dreams for a better world.
- Traditions that strengthen social justice struggles.
- A welcoming community of singers, activists, songwriters, spoken word artists, and allies committed to using the arts as catalysts for peace and justice.
The event begins with arrival and participatory singing on Friday, May 29. On Saturday and Sunday (May 30 & 31), we’ll have participatory workshops and song swaps, and a Saturday night “Round Robin” – all highlighting the role of music in progressive social change. Expect numerous opportunities to share music, to sing together, and to join efforts to bring music into the heart of struggles for justice and freedom today.
We welcome new ideas! To submit a workshop proposal, please fill out the Workshop Proposal Form!
Omnivorous, vegetarian and vegan meals are included in the registration price, and are served from Friday dinner to Sunday lunch.
Tell us on your registration form if you'd like to sell CDs or other merch during the gathering. Items for sale may be left on the sales table, with or without a price. You may leave your phone number or payment info, so that potential customers can text or pay you. For questions, check in with the sales table coordinator when you arrive.
Masks are not mandatory, but we encourage participants to wear them at their own comfort level. We will provide masks. We ask that people stay at home if they feel sick or if they had flu-like symptoms within five days of the event. We encourage attendees to take a rapid home test within two days of the weekend, even if you are feeling well, and please consider bringing extra tests. Full refunds are available due to sickness. If you test positive for COVID while at the gathering, please notify a member of the PMN Safety Team so that others at the weekend can test and take appropriate precautions.
Grotonwood Camp & Conference Center has abundant shared cabin space. PMN will be using Prescott Lodge, Blanchard Hall, and the Going Cabins. Most rooms have beds for 2 or 3 people, and a few rooms have space for 4 people. For a $75 extra charge, individuals may get a 2 person room with a private bathroom in the newest building: Prescott Lodge, which is right in the center of camp or in the Going Cabins, which are spacious but slightly more removed from the center of camp. Wheelchair accessible bathrooms are available in Prescott Lodge and Blanchard Hall. Indicate accessibility needs on your registration form, and you'll be assigned to one of these spaces. Tenting is allowed as an alternative to staying in the cabins.
For a high definition visual preview, Camp Grotonwood has a promotional video on their YouTube Channel detailing the facilities at the camp.
