Come Brainstorm about PMN, Disability Awareness and Equitable Accessibility!
Tuesday, May 24, 2022, 7:30 – 9:00 PM (ET)
As a follow-up to our workshop at the January 2022 convergence, Brainstorm and Art-Share about Inclusion and Community Building, we invite you to put those brainstorming hats back on and come join us for a planning conversation about how PMN can be ever more inclusive and accessible.
At the January convergence, we gathered to share art pieces about disabilities and different abilities and inclusion and exclusion, challenging and examining our biases and our reasons for “othering” and/or judging others. There is of course overlap between how people who are deemed to have disabilities are treated and other social injustices.
Because of the popularity of our workshop and the number of people who wanted to share art work about this topic, we never got to our brainstorming session, and we would like to invite you to come brainstorm for part two!
