Brief Bio
Lydia Adams is songwriter and guitarist guitarist noted for her uncanny ability to write fully formed songs on the spot. She is a song leader for The Beacon Sloop Club, sings and entertains in festivals & libraries and supports gatherings of the NYC and New Jersey Friends of Clearwater, The Hudson Valley Folk Guild, the Peoples' Music Network, The Towne Crier Cafe in Beacon and other stunning folk venues. She has a robust library of performances on YouTube, Spotify and Instagram. The five award - winning "albums" which dot her professional landscape are available on hard copy and electronically! LAD was an original Hudson River Sloop Singer with the late great Pete Seeger. Lydia Adams offers environmental school concerts, Woman's "Herstorical" performances and occasional ASL interpretations for singers.
